1. Industry application

Draining - The turbulence caused by the drain, has the potential to interfere a lot of air with the liquid to be bottled, which increases the risk of oxidation. The nitrogen acts to displace the oxygen and maintaining the liquid under the drain


Beer frothing - When beer foamed using nitrogen produced the hordein-derived polypeptides that provide the most stable foam which gives the beer a mouth feel and 'creamy' texture.
