Welding steps

2.1 Procedures for gas welding (cutting) using acetylene cylinders:

2.1.1 Connect acetylene pressure reducer with acetylene cylinder valve, oxygen pressure reducer with oxygen cylinder valve, oxygen hose with oxygen pressure reducer, acetylene hose with acetylene pressure reducer, oxygen and acetylene hose with welding (cutting) torch.

2.1.2 Open acetylene cylinder valve and oxygen cylinder valve respectively.

2.1.3 Butt welding (cutting) torch ignition, can work.

2.1.4 After the work is finished, close the welding (cutting) acetylene valve and oxygen valve successively, and then close the acetylene cylinder valve and oxygen cylinder valve. Then remove the oxygen and acetylene hoses, check and clean the site, and destroy the flame before leaving.

2.2 Operation steps of gas welding (cutting) using medium-pressure acetylene generator:

2.2.1 Reliably connect oxygen decompressor with oxygen cylinder valve, oxygen hose with oxygen decompressor, acetylene generator, oxygen and acetylene hose with welding (cutting).

2.2.2 Rinse acetylene generator with clean water to remove mortar and residue.

2.2.3 Put calcium carbide with appropriate lumpiness into the calcium carbide basket, and the amount of calcium carbide should not be too much at one time.

2.2.4 Put the calcium carbide basket into the acetylene generator, add appropriate amount of water, and tighten the cover tightly.

2.2.5 Open the oxygen cylinder valve.

2.2.6 When the butt welding (cutting) torch is ignited, the work can start.

2.2.7 After the completion of the work, close the welding (cutting) torch acetylene valve and oxygen valve successively, and then close the oxygen cylinder and open the acetylene generator blowdown valve until the blowdown is completed, and then open the cover, wash it clean, check and clean the site, and eliminate the flame before leaving.
