Working Principle of LDH Nitrogen Generator

The LDH nitrogen generator adopts the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. High - quality imported carbon molecular sieves (CMS) are used as adsorbents. At normal temperature, based on the principle of PSA, the air is separated to produce high - purity nitrogen. The diffusion rates of oxygen and nitrogen gas molecules on the surface of the molecular sieve are different. Smaller - diameter oxygen molecules (O₂) have a faster diffusion rate and can enter the micropores of the carbon molecular sieve more easily, while larger - diameter nitrogen molecules (N₂) have a slower diffusion rate and enter the micropores less. This difference in selective adsorption leads to the enrichment of oxygen in the adsorption phase and nitrogen in the gas phase in a short time, thus achieving the separation of oxygen and nitrogen. Usually, two adsorption towers are used in parallel. The fully - automatic control system strictly controls the time sequence according to a specific programmable program, alternately performing pressurized adsorption and decompression regeneration to complete the separation of nitrogen and oxygen and obtain the required high - purity nitrogen.
