Medical oxygen machine, commonly used as pressure swing adsorption oxygen machine, adopts pressure swing adsorption technology to produce oxygen, can extract oxygen from air. The medical oxygen machine is filled with molecular sieve, and the surface area of each gram of molecular sieve can reach 800-1000m2/g. Under pressure, the physical adsorption technology and desorption technology of molecular sieve are used to absorb nitrogen in the air, and the oxygen not adsorbed will be collected. Through purification treatment, oxygen with high purity can be obtained. With the molecular sieve depressurized, the nitrogen previously adsorbed will be discharged back into the air. When pressure is again applied, nitrogen can be adsorbed for oxygen production. Therefore, the medical oxygen generator can realize periodic circulation oxygen production, which is a dynamic process.
The oxygen production flow of medical oxygen generator (PSA oxygen generator) is shown in the figure. The oxygen raw material is air. After filtration (remove oil, dust, water, solid impurities, etc.) of air, the compressed high-pressure air enters the adsorption tower for adsorption and separation. The adsorption tower is equipped with molecular sieve, and nitrogen and carbon dioxide will be divided The gas from the adsorption tower is the oxygen with high purity, which can be used as medical oxygen.
