Product Description
LDH Gas Systems Company Limited is a professional manufacturer of gas separation equipment. Its containerized high-purity oxygen generator is designed to provide a reliable and efficient solution for oxygen production. This equipment is housed in a 40-foot high cube container, which offers several advantages such as easy transportation, installation, and operation.
The containerized design eliminates the need for a separate machine room and reduces the time and effort required for setup. The device is capable of producing high-purity oxygen, making it suitable for various industrial and medical applications. Engineered for rugged reliability and rapid deployment, it's ideal for mining, metal fabrication, wastewater treatment, and energy projects in remote or demanding environments.
Key Advantages
- Mobility & Rapid Commissioning: Pre-installed in a standard 40ft shipping container for global transport and immediate operation.
- Cost Efficiency: Slash oxygen expenses by producing it on-site, reducing cylinder/LOX delivery costs.
- Scalable Output: Modular design adapts to flow requirements (custom flow rates available).
- Zero Supply Chain Risks: Ensure uninterrupted production with self-sufficient oxygen generation.

Working Principle
LDH's PSA oxygen generators operate on the principle of pressure swing adsorption, which exploits the selective adsorption of gases by certain materials. In this process:
- Air Compression and Purification: Ambient air is first compressed and then passed through filters and dryers to remove moisture, oil, and particulate matter. Clean, dry compressed air is essential to protect the molecular sieve beds.
- Adsorption Phase: The compressed air enters one of two adsorption towers packed with zeolite molecular sieve material. Zeolite has a strong affinity for nitrogen (and other trace gases like CO2 and water vapor) at high pressure. As the air flows through the tower, nitrogen molecules are adsorbed onto the zeolite surface, while oxygen (and argon) pass through the bed and exit the tower as product gas. The oxygen-rich gas (typically 90-95% O2) is collected in a buffer tank for use.
- Regeneration Phase: After a set cycle time, the first tower becomes saturated with adsorbed nitrogen. The system then switches the airflow to the second tower (which is now in adsorption mode), while the first tower undergoes regeneration. During regeneration, the pressure in the first tower is reduced (swung to low pressure or vacuum), causing the zeolite to release (desorb) the trapped nitrogen. The nitrogen (along with other impurities) is vented out to atmosphere, and the sieve bed is purged and readied for the next adsorption cycle.
- Cycle Repeat: The two towers alternate between adsorption and regeneration in a continuous cycle. A sophisticated valve system and controller manage the switching sequence so that one tower is always producing oxygen while the other is being regenerated. This allows for an uninterrupted supply of oxygen gas. Modern PSA controllers can adjust the cycle timing based on demand, ensuring efficient operation.
The zeolite molecular sieve is key to this process - it preferentially adsorbs nitrogen over oxygen due to differences in molecular size and polarity. At high pressure, the sieve "captures" nitrogen, and at low pressure it releases it. By repeating this pressure swing, the system continuously separates oxygen from air. LDH's PSA generators are designed with dual towers and automatic valves to execute this cycle smoothly, often under PLC control for precision. The result is a steady stream of high-purity oxygen gas produced on-site from just air and electricity.
